Maneadero

Maneadero is just south of Ensenada in Baja California, Mexico. The population is approximately 17,861 people, and it is estimated that 30%-40% of the population in Maneadero are Oaxacan Indians who migrated north from Oaxca in search of work. Many work in the fields.

The main highway in Maneadero, Highway 1, is paved, but most other roads throughout the surrounding towns and neighborhoods are dirt which get filled with ruts and puddles due to poor drainage.  The rough roads take a heavy toll on vehicles, and those who don't have a car, which many don't, get dirty quickly from the dust kicked-up by cars, trucks and buses.

September is warmest with an average temperature of 79 °F at noon. January is coldest with an average temperature of 43 °F at night.
