Healthier, Happier LivesMedical care and prescriptions are expensive, especially when your family earns $7-$12 a day. Many endure pain and forego treatment for themselves and their children because they simply can't afford it.
We are blessed to have a doctor and nurse join us on our trips who can see patients in our clinic (a nicely appointed trailer) and provide medicine and medical supplies for those who need care. When the doctor writes a prescription, we also pay for it to get it filled. Healing is part of our missionary call. Recently, we have been graced with the invlovement of a local young lady who is a medical student. She has been in our school program for many years and is now giving back! |
